When I was a kid, I fell in love with advertising. Ads were my favorite part of watching TV or flipping through a magazine. I was fascinated by the emotions a simple photo or 30-second video could make me feel. I yearned to understand how it was possible to connect with people through words, pictures, and sounds. I explored photography and art at an early age, which led me down a path of creative awakening. It wasn't until high school that I discovered my talent and passion for writing through a creative writing course.

While at the University of Utah, I learned from Bill Oakley, the former Chief Creative Officer at McCann Worldgroup. He taught me how to make ads meaningful, memorable, and personal, emphasizing that advertising has the power to change the world. Ads can offer different points of view, they can educate, and they can evoke an emotion in a world where we grow increasingly numb. I quickly became passionate about crafting influential pieces of advertising that could have such an effect.

With my natural quick wit, artistic eye, creative mind, and the inspiration I gained at university, I decided to pursue a career in creativity and copywriting, where I will generate powerful work that will inspire consumers and the next generation of advertisers.
